Cadillac police say they have arrested a man for hitting a car, and then driving off. >

Police say they found the damaged car in the middle of the intersection at North Mitchell and East Harris Streets just before 2 Sunday morning.

The driver, a young woman, was treated for minor injuries at the scene.

Police say they caught up to the vehicle that drove off after it hit a fence on West Garfield Street.

They were able to arrest the driver and say alcohol played a role in both crashes.

The man has yet to be charged.
